1. Application Process
  1. Obtain an Invitation (Visa Support): Before applying, you must have an official invitation. For tourists, this is a “Tourist Voucher” and “Confirmation” from a licensed Russian travel agency.

2. Core Requirements
  • Passport: Original, valid for at least 6 months after the visa expires, with at least two blank pages.

  • Supporting Docs: Confirmed (paid) air tickets, hotel confirmation, and often a bank statement or salary slip.
  • Health: For work or study visas (stays over 90 days), an HIV-negative certificate is mandatory.
