1. Start with clean skin: prep the skin by using a gentle cleanser, followed by a hydrating serum. Don’t forget to dab a bit of lip balm on the lips to help keep them supple. Next, dab a hydrating concealer on the skin with a damp sponge, then blend in a luminous foundation, also with a damp sponge.

2. Gently buff setting powder onto the skin with a large fluffy powder brush; this will help set the makeup and improve its longevity. Mix a liquid blush and some highlighter on the back of your hand, swirl your brush in it and then apply on your cheeks for a very natural flush of colour and highlight. You don’t want it too in-your-face – the eyes are the main focus in this look.

3. Fill your brows in with a pomade, and brush the hairs upwards using a spoolie brush. Apply an eyelid primer and then, with a flat eyeshadow brush, apply bronze? eyeshadow from the inner corners to the crease. Blend upwards with a blending brush to extend the eyeshadow right until the brow bone.  

4. Pick an eyeliner with a fine tip and draw a fine line against the lash line. Use an eyelash curler, then apply a few coats of lengthening and volumising mascara.
