4. Recurrent, Extreme Mood Swings: Very commonly used term, mood swings are totally normal. But repeatedly having extreme mood swings or a labile mood which switches in seconds to minutes, interfering with your daily life activities might be indicative of bipolar disorder or other mood disorders.

5. Social Withdrawal: Social withdrawal or isolation can be a sign of depression. There is a constant feeling of hopelessness in a person who is going through it and he/she has lost interest in interacting with their family and friends. If you or your loved one are finding it increasingly difficult to connect with them, it’s important to reach out for help.

6. Unexplained Physical Symptoms: Sometimes, mental health issues are presented as physical symptoms in the body. These can be chronic pain without a clear medical cause, frequent headaches, gastric issues, sweating, feeling of dissociation with the body or the environment can sometimes be because of a mental health condition.
